Redwood City, Calif. March 20, 2007 Trion World Network (Trion), the publisher and developer of games and original entertainment for the broadband era, has named Erin Turner as Senior Director of Web Services & Publishing and Peter Huang as Senior Director of Web Technology. The two strategic hires join the growing ranks of leading game, technology, and entertainment professionals at the company. As part of the executive team, the duo will strengthen execution of Trion's mission: to revolutionize entertainment by combining the best of online, gaming, and traditional media. Turner will head the Online Publishing division with Huang leading the technology vision for Trion's multi-client publishing platform.

Erin Turner brings to Trion nearly 10 years of product development and product marketing experience in consumer web applications & client software. Most recently, Turner was Director of Global E-Commerce for Electronic Arts (EA), where she launched the digital distribution of games and in-game content for the PC games market in North America, Europe, and Asia. Prior to this position, Turner directed product development for EA's online SDK which included online game capabilities and community applications. Her game credits include Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, The Sims 2 University, James Bond 007: Everything of Nothing, and James Bond 007: Nightfire. Turner launched her career in the web arena as founding CEO of Gigabeat: a music search & recommendation engine acquired by Napster in 2001.

At Trion, Turner will lead the online publishing division to deliver connected-client applications & services for the global market. This includes product strategy and development for web, mobile, e-commerce, and syndication. By developing the web and mobile devices as clients of the game, Trion will ride the wave of always-on gamers who seek to stay engaged with their games from anywhere.

"Trion has all the right elements to succeed: great market timing, a creative team, and a product vision that will move the dial in the industry." Turner added, "The opportunity to lead a key part of this business and bring that vision to life is something I didn't want to miss."

Peter Huang joins the Trion team from EA, where, as a Senior Director of Development, he led the industry giant's development efforts at EA Online and EA China. During his distinguished career at EA, Huang focused on delivering groundbreaking online technologies for Pogo.com, the world's number one casual games site, and EA's Asia and International markets. Huang offers Trion more than 11 years of software development and management experience in Internet and client-server software.

At Trion, Huang will lead the publishing and connected-client technology team, bringing the most relevant modern web and enterprise technologies to complement Trion's leading-edge game technology. Teaming up with Turner reunites a successful leadership team from past projects in the industry.

"Trion's vision of complementing online games with modern web technologies gives the company a tremendous advantage in the Web 2.0 environment," said Huang. "They have done an amazing job attracting top-notch talent in the games and technology industries. In addition, Erin and I make a great team. We have delivered many pioneering products together and look forward to bridging games with connected-clients in ways never possible before."

Dr. Lars Buttler, CEO and Co-founder of Trion World Network, commented, "We are extremely excited to bring Erin and Peter on-board. Not only are they leaders in the world of web and online games, they are a proven team whose vision and experience will ensure we deliver on our mission to captivate audiences with game services across multiple platforms in a global market."
